Our Return Policy

Above all else, we want you to be nothing short of thrilled with your order and your shopping experience with Ella & Boss.

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price (minus shipping fees). Please see below for exceptions.

Important: All returns require pre-authorization. Please contact us in order to receive complete instructions on returning goods. Do not ship your items back to the original shipper. Ella & Boss is for the most part a third party retailer, so many of our items will ship to you directly from the manufacturer. If you simply "return to sender," your order will undoubtedly end up going to the wrong warehouse, things will get all confusing and messy, and, unfortunately, we will need to assess an additional 20% restocking fee to your refund for the trouble. That’s no fun.

Once we receive your return, please allow 1-2 weeks for processing. Refunds are made in the same form as the original payment or by store credit. You will be refunded the full purchase price of the item (including tax) minus any shipping fees you paid on the order. Also, you are responsible for shipping the returned item to us. Please note that ALL returns should be shipped to our main headquarters in McLean, VA 22101.

In order for a product to be eligible for a refund, there are a few very important criteria that we would like to clarify and emphasize:

  • All bedding, cosmetics, and linens must be unused, unwashed, in their original packaging and original condition. 
  • In fact, all products must be unused and returned to us in their original condition and in their original packaging complete with all tags, instructions, and inserts. (We just wanted to emphasize that first one, because… ew, gross!)
  • We cannot accept returns on special orders that have been customized. (We’re talking color, finish, dimensions, upholstery, etc.)
  • For international shipments, we do not accept returns after the order has been received by the freight forwarder of your choice.

Naturally, all returns are subject to our Terms of Use.

Please keep in mind that once you complete your purchase and your order has shipped, it cannot be canceled. Should you refuse your order upon delivery, it will then fall under our standard refused shipment policy: all shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

Lastly, all products are covered by the warranty policies of the their respective manufacturers. If you have any questions about the warranty for a specific product, or if you have questions on how to make a warranty claim, please contact us. Of course, all warranty claims are subject to our Terms of Use.

But hopefully, you’ll never have to deal with any of that, because our goal is to make shopping with Ella & Boss as fast, easy and satisfying as possible!
